Many people ask "What is it you people actually do?" It’s simple really – we work with clients to ‘get results’, results that matter to the client, that are important to the business and to the bottom line. How we do that is slightly more complicated.

As a pragmatist, I am passionate about developing practical solutions for our clients that deliver measurable results. Keeping a focus on doing the simple things well. Identifying with clients the 20% of activities that will deliver 80% of their results. And working on doing the 20% with real quality, because that’s what will achieve results.

My business career started many years ago in Taiwan, where I setup and managed a variety of businesses over 8 years. With a partner we built up an import and export business dealing in cars and computers, exporting mainly to Europe and sourcing products throughout the Far East. I learnt the hard way – by making the mistakes. Having made and learned from the mistakes allows me to really relate to clients, at their level.

In my 20+ years business experience I’ve dealt with major multinationals and I’ve worked with many small and medium sized companies. The key thing that I’ve learned is that the success of almost any business is down to its people. It sounds like a cliché but that does not make it is any less true. My passion is working with people, and helping them to grow and develop to realise their potential. Helping them to achieve things they may not otherwise achieve. That’s what gives me the biggest ‘buzz’ in business. Achieving the results is the by product of this.
